A career built at the point where plans meet reality.
Dakhalfani Boyd has spent more than twenty-five years leading people and organizations through complexity, first as a retired U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major, and later across senior executive-level federal leadership, public-sector and transportation leadership, and enterprise human capital and technology transformation.
That path has given him an unusual vantage point: he has stood inside the moment when a strategy is approved, and inside the much harder moment when it has to survive contact with a real organization, its governance, its incentives, its people, and its habits.
He is the founder of an executive advisory practice focused on organizational execution, and the author of the forthcoming book The Execution Gap. His work today is focused on one persistent question: why do well-designed strategies so often fail to become real, sustained outcomes, and what can leaders do about it before the gap forms.
